Andrew Gibson

Managing Partner, CEO, co-CIO

Andrew Gibson joined IAM in March 2001 and serves as CEO and co-CIO with over 29 years' investment experience. Andrew's expertise lies in Hedge Funds, Alternative UCITS investments and Multi-asset funds. Prior to IAM, Andrew was a Director at Deutsche Bank working in relative value fixed income sales for hedge fund and proprietary trading accounts. Previously he was a Vice President at JP Morgan and Head of the Institutional Hedge Fund team for Emerging Markets. He graduated from the University of Washington with a BA in Political Economics.

Marivi Lorente

Managing Partner, co-CIO, co-Head

Marivi Lorente is Managing Partner, Co-CIO, Co-Head of IAM Investments Alternative UCITS platform and also sits on IAM's and IAM ICAV's Board of Directors. She is predominantly responsible for UCITS investments and the IAM UCITS ICAV. She has over 28 years investment experience and over 15 years of experience in the hedge fund industry. Prior to IAM, Marivi was a Managing Partner of Alantra (Spain) where she was in charge of hedge fund investments. Previously she was Managing Director of Equity Division at Santander Investment in London and NY. She has a BSc and MSc in Economics and Business Administration from Colegio Universitario de Estudios Financcieros CUNEF. She has completed the London Business School Investment Management and Corporate Finance programmes. She is a CAIA holder (Chartered Alternative Investment Analyst) and is based in London.

Mirko Butti

Managing Partner, Head of Business Development

Mirko Butti joined IAM in 2015. Mirko is a Managing Partner and Director, and also sits on IAM's Board of Directors. He is Co-Head of IAM Investments Alternative UCITS platform and he is responsible for IAM's business development, and has over 25 years' investment experience. Prior to IAM, Mirko was Managing Director for Southern Europe, Middle East and North Africa at Russell Investments. He joined Russell Investments in 2000 as a Senior Portfolio Analyst in their London based investment management group. He was also country head for Italy where he opened a Milan office in 2009. Mirko has a B.Comm. in Finance and Management from Universita' degli Studi di Cagliari, a Masters degree in Finance from the Business School SDA Bocconi in Milan, is a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) and is based in London.
